1. It uses 0.03~0.35mm metal wire as electrode tool, and does not need to manufacture electrodes with specific shapes.
2. Although the object of machining is mainly plane shape, any complicated shape can be machined except the limitation of the minimum diameter r (wire radius+discharge gap) of the inner step determined by the wire diameter.
3. The contour machining needs less machining allowance, which can effectively save valuable materials.
